Biography

James Cramer is an artist with numerous strings to his bow, singer, songwriter, performer and multi-instrumentalist. The release of his first project, ‘The Lights of LIsnaskay’ came about from a love of poetry and a random book selection at a local library. Combining the poems of Fermanagh World War 2 veteran, Matt Duggan, with his own lyrics and musical arrangements, James created a contemporary album that brought critical acclaim. Another solo project brought James together with well-known Irish singer songwriter Eleanor McEvoy. They wrote, recorded and released the Christmas single ‘Snowflakes Fall’, gaining extensive airplay with what is sure to be a seasonal standard.

A prolific songwriter James has written for and co-written with other singers and songwriters including Luan Parle, Hermitage Green, Darren Holden, Derek Ryan, Grainne Hunt and Eleanor McEvoy.

James’ career continues in a new musical direction from his previous projects with ‘Let Me Do Good’. An epic song accompanied by a powerful video shot in Mexico City by filmmakers David Montouy and Pablo Leon.

Previous single ‘My World Again’ is a stunning piano driven ballad, again accompanied by an emotive video and was used in season two of the Canadian CBC network show ‘Hello Goodbye’. James has played shows in Ireland, Europe and the USA and continues to work on his debut album.
